The Kiwanis Club of Denville is part of Kiwanis International and one of about 8,600 clubs in 80 countries around the world.

We chartered on July 10, 1946 - making us one of the oldest service clubs in Denville!

Our membership is comprised of men and women involved in business or professional fields who share a common serve their local and worldwide community. Membership is open to all who are interested in committing time and other resources to community service.

We believe that together, we can accomplish much more than any one of us can as an individual.  Membership in Kiwanis affords everyone the opportunity to provide meaningful service, to network with others of similar interests and to pursue positions of leadership within the Kiwanis world.

Membership in Kiwanis is by invitation, and this is your invitation to join our club. 

Our Meetings

Club members meet for dinner every Monday evening at Mancino's Pizza, 490 E. Main Street, Denville, NJ  at 6:30 PM. Meetings are designed to discuss and coordinate club activities, build friendships and enjoy a variety of programs of community and personal interest. Meetings last for approximately an hour and a half, While there is no mandatory attendance requirement, members are encouraged to attend as many meetings as possible
Club Structure

The club meetings are presided over by the club President. The club President-elect is the next in line of succession. The remainder of the slate of officers is made complete by a Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Supporting the officers is a Board of Directors and a team of Committee Chairpersons to coordinate the specific activities of the club.

The Board of Directors determines the business of the club and meets monthly to make sure that all required club management issues are discussed and resolved. The Board also approves all expenditures.
All officers are elected annually and the club President appoints all Board members at the outset of the term. The Kiwanis Administrative year begins on October 1 and ends on September 30 each year.

Our Sponsored Youth

Our club sponsors three different age groups of youth in seven sponsored youth clubs. These clubs guide the youth into service-oriented, caring and concerned adults. The clubs are:

Morris Knolls Key Club
Morris Hills Key Club
Morris Catholic Key Club
Morris County School of Technology Key Club
Valleyview Builders Club
Lakeview K Kids
Riverview K Kids

Key Clubs are comprised of high school aged youth, the Builders Club of middle school youth and the K-Kids are for the elementary school youth. In these clubs, the youth learn about service, fundraising, responsibility, cooperation and leadership.


Our club raises funds in a variety of ways to support our many service and outreach programs and projects. Our major fundraisers include:

Shoe Box Recycling
50-50 Raffle
Pancake Breakfast
Peanut Day

In addition to these fundraisers, we perform specific fundraisers targeted to support special projects throughout the year.

As a group we can achieve what individuals cannot do alone.
